Suicide has become epidemic among Aboriginal youth. Every time I sing it think of young Ben, our sleeve artist who stepped off the planet before the album release. He never saw the finished product; the double album he designed for us is just beautiful. The song is a joint work. It began its life as a song called Lucille Ammonia originally written by Geoffrey, Annette spliced in the Yeates lines from The Mermaid.
